Our U8 Eagles recently visited Aston Villa Academy in Birmingham, England per their invitation. While there, the Eagles played a series of matches in which they showed tremendous skill and cohesion on the pitch. Across all games, our side proved unstoppable in their attacking play and defensive solidity.
More valuable than the results, however, was the learning experience the young athletes gained. Facing top-level competition in Aston Villa’s world-class facilities offered our Eagles crucial lessons that will serve their development well going forward.
We are deeply grateful to Aston Villa for opening their doors and exposing our youth to such a enriching experience. We hope there will be further opportunities in the future for both clubs to collaborate and help grow the beautiful game.
